PARRAMATTA, Australia - Nov. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- In one of our recent family law matters, our client married his wife who lived in Egypt in early January 2011.  The couple have no children together. Our client has five children from a previous marriage and his wife has two previous children from a previous marriage. Our client was born in Egypt and came to Australia in 1986. Our client went back to Egypt to visit his ill sister, when he was in Egypt he met his wife. Their relationship began soon after, the two were engaged in early 2011. The two got married later that year, they did not have a church ceremony, it was just and office signing.

Our client bought his wife various expensive gifts, including bracelets and jewellery worth thousands. Our client returned to Australia in mid-February 2011 alone, his wife stayed in Egypt.  The two continued various telephone conversations to maintain a healthy relationship. Not long after our client arrival, he sent his wife a lump sum of money to Egypt for his wife to help cover any expenses she needed for herself and her two children from a previous marriage. Our client continued to send his wife lump sums of money each month to help cover various expenses.

Our client's wife asked for a proper marriage ceremony in Australia as her family in Egypt were not very supportive of their relationship, and such a ceremony would make her family happier. His wife came to Australia to have a marriage ceremony, however such a ceremony never took place. She went back to Egypt to live with her family again, our client gave her another large lump sum to help with living expenses. Our client's wife then requested for three airfares so that she could return to Australia with her two children. Our client bought three airfares for them, the airfares were very expensive. Our client's wife and her children resided in his home in Western Sydney. They stayed without client for several months in Australia. On the in mid-June 2012 the couple had separated.

Throughout the time that our client's wife and children were living with our client in his home in Australia, he was paying for their food, water, clothing, household items, water, bills and mobile phone bills. Our client was still giving his wife money every week so she was able to buy things for herself and her children.
During the time our client's wife was living in Australia, there was multiple arguments between the two. One particular large argument was stemmed from our client's wife's family not approving of their relationship, this argument resulted in the separation of the two. Our client considered their relationship over after this argument. After separation the two did not communicate with each other after this argument. Our client stopped giving his wife money after separation.

During the relationship our client gave his wife and her children was accommodation, food, money and transport. Our client tried to make her children feel comfortable whilst they were living in Australia by buying them computer games, PlayStation games, and furniture, bedding and personal accessories. During the relationship between the two, our client's wife did not work during the relationship between the two. She did not make any financial contributions during this time. Our client paid for everything himself for his wife and her children.

After separation our client's wife and children continued to live in our client's house in Australia rent free for a period of six months. The current issue is our client's wife is wanting a great of our client's pool of assets and property. Our law firm will be representing our client at court, and will be helping him to ensure that his wife does not take more than what she is entitled to.
