Follow on Google News | Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees celebrates 33rd anniversary in the Treasure ValleyBy: Saint Alphonsus Health System The Festival of Trees celebration transforms the Boise Centre into a wonderland of holiday splendor, featuring hundreds of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, and holiday decor. Special features of the Festival of Trees include a family day with an interactive train and LEGO display, children's scavenger hunt, visits with Santa, decorating and art contests, senior day, and more. Live performances are provided by local dance groups, choirs and musicians; while over 2,000 volunteers from across the Treasure Valley help to make the event possible. Since its inception, the Festival of Trees has raised more than $9 million to improve healthcare in our community. Funds raised from this year's event will support the upgrades to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which will help to sustain the Treasure Valley's highest caliber technologies and services for the smallest patients in the hospital. General admission prices are $7 for adults, $5 for military members, $4 for children (ages 3-12), $4 for seniors (ages 62 and over), $30 for families (6 individuals) End
