Norman OK Musician Releases New Music Video

NORMAN, Okla. - Nov. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Artist Richard "Daddy" Love   released his latest music video for his song Grandpa's Tackle Box.  Love is the founder and principle organizer of the SongWriters Association Norman (SWAN) which is a non-profit group organized under the Norman Arts Council. Their mission is to promote and support songwriting and the creation of original music in the Norman/OKC community.

Love wrote the song in 2001 and recently recorded it for the video at the request of video producer Suzanne Boyd from Michigan. "I heard Grandpa's Tackle Box and decided I wanted to create a music video for it. It is a song that everyone can relate to in some way. Our relationships with our families are important and to me, this song spoke to that," said Boyd.

Love took on the task of recording the song in his home studio in Norman, Oklahoma. He also provided the shot of himself playing in his backyard to give it an Oklahoma feel. "Suzanne showed me the raw footage and it was like seeing the song come to life. Grandpa's Tackle Box is always well received by audiences and I am really happy to have another way to share it with people." Boyd gathered the rest of the footage in Michigan and also used some time lapse footage she and her family have captured across the county.

Love calls his musical style Rural Folk Rhythm & Blues. His songs use a down home style of writing & take a look at Oklahoma life with a wry sense of humor. His guitar work includes an aggressive acoustic style, solo blues style incorporating a bass / rhythm part and lead licks and his rock-n-roll roots are never far away.  Whether they're about the blues, train depots, beat-up pickup trucks, lost loves or fishin' with grampa, Love's songs come from the heart and stick to the roof of your mouth!
