AMMAN, Jordan - Nov. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Easy, previously known as EasyTaxi, is calling out regulated taxis in Amman, Jordan that have not signed up yet with the service; promising competitive advantage based on the historical projections the company has achieved in enhancing the quality and benefits for already registered drivers. Company officials mentioned that elevating the quality of the existing transportation platform is priority, when drivers are protesting against the official and insufficient meter rates, in addition to their demands to ban mobile applications that operates private cars.

Easy's global mission is to overcome a bigger challenge than its competitors by taking in local fleets, and roll out quality monitoring and enhancements; ultimately transforming taxis that might have been neglected into a top notch service. The challenge ensures that taxi drivers are not marginalized when the convenience of mobile applications is taking control over day-to-day activities and services.

"Disruptive mobile technologies are only beneficial to the society as a whole when it is fair to the existing service providers. Easy prioritizes existing transportation taxi fleets, and works with them into the technological benefits of having their own mobile application that competes with what marginalized them. This happens while keeping a strict quality management procedure for the consumer to indulge." Said Hammad Ehtesham, "Easy" Middle East COO.

The service was launched in Amman, Jordan in late 2013 with only 3 taxi drivers, when quality of transportation subject peaked attention. Due to low official meter rates, drivers could not generate suitable revenues that goes along with the high costs of living in Amman leading to several protests in November. Thus, being picky with destination routes and charging extra was the only way out. "Taxi drivers who did sign up with us since launch have found a greater benefit in terms of making a suitable living. And with quality processes made through our in-app driver rating, our drivers are always taking the extra step in achieving customer satisfaction. When we started, cancellation rates based on destination were around 30%. Now we reduced it to 5% and decreasing." Said Abdulla Ayesh, "Easy" Jordan Country Manager.

Today, Easy's yellow taxi fleet reached over 8,000 drivers with an average driver/car quality rating of 4.7 out of 5 through the post-ride in-app process. The success it has achieved in enhancing the quality of services provided by app-registered taxis might be what the local existing sector needs in order to provide universal quality standards with the cheapest rates suiting the local consumer.
