University of Tennessee Ice Vols Celebrate 50 Years of Club Hockey

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Nov. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- The University of Tennessee Ice Vols, the club hockey team of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is celebrating their 50th Anniversary the weekend of November 17th-19th, 2016.

The team, which has played as a club team associated with the University of Tennessee, is celebrating their golden anniversary with two games against the Auburn Tigers club hockey team on November 18th and 19th, followed by an alumni game on Sunday, November 20th. The games on the 19th and 20th will be played at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.

Special jerseys celebrating the 50th anniversary of the program will be worn during the Alumi Game and all weekend, with the jerseys to be auctioned after the conclusion of the weekend, with all proceeds benefitting this student run organization.

The Tennesee Ice Vols are a member of the SEC Hockey Conference, which includes all of the schools that are currently members of the Southeastern Conference.

Game time for the November 19th game against Auburn will be 8 pm at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum; the Alumni game will be held at noon, November 20th at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. Admission is $5.
