@Home Opens in Asheville Market

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Nov. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Robert & Bob are no strangers to the retail world.  Having had three successful stores in Savannah, GA (Magnolias of Savannah) and Fox Hollow Gifts in Brevard, they then decided to move to Asheville whilst establishing themselves in their new home in Woodfin.

"We fell in love with WNC years ago, and eventually moved to Brevard opening Fox Hollow Gifts in 2013.  We had built a wonderful log cabin, however we soon learnt that a log cabin meant maintenance! Eventually we looked for a new location, both for a new home and for a new store.  The Asheville Market (opposite the Asheville Mall, home of Whole Foods and DSW) is where we chose to open our latest store. Everything came together very quickly, we closed Fox Hollow Gifts in October and opened @Home on November 5^th", explained Bob Mather.

"Our store @Home specializes in furniture, accessories and gifts that transform your house into a home.  We also carry a selection of merchandise from well reputed brands such as Mud Pie, Bethany Lowe, Lori C Mitchell, Primitives by Kathy and Dale Tiffany Lamps.  We continue to carry our successful and comical greeting cards from Eric Decitis and Mik Wright.  Our previous customers have always loved our merchandise and always ask about our range of greeting cards, so we're excited to bring these to our Asheville location.  We're focusing on seasonal merchandise and transitional furnishings with a featured local artist/artisan every month," commented Robert Cheney.

Robert has years of experience in merchandising, branding, company image and showroom/store layout from his years with Tommy Hilfiger and Lacoste.

Bob loves retail and understands the importance of great customer service.  Prior to opening 'Magnolias of Savanah', he ran his own home cleaning business and a stain glass company in Florida.

@Home will feature a local artist/artisan every month, including a meet the artist wine and cheese evening.  Both Robert and Bob feel that the talents of the local artists and artisans need as much exposure as possible as the quality of their work is on a par with other national artists.  Local artists and artisans interested in being featured can call Bob at 828 231 5371.

When it came to their signage needs, they immediately went to Signarama.  "We had used them for all of our Savanah and Brevard signs and Ed was fantastic.  Ed worked with us to obtain our sign permit and had our sign produced and ready to install in record time.  Ed and his team are great to work with and always do what they say they will do, which is rare these days.  We cannot recommend them highly enough."

Understanding and appreciating quality customer service is a watchword for @Home. "We're implementing a service to our clients. This special service enables a wife to select items she loves. She will advise us when to contact her husband prior to their significant dates such as birthday, anniversary etc. We have the items she had chosen gift wrapped and ready to be picked up. We ran this program in Savannah and it was a great success".
