Oklahoma City Jeweler Expands IP Holdings to Include Traditional Family Tradename

OKLAHOMA CITY - Nov. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Phoenix Industries LLC doing business as  "Jewelsmiths" purchased the name, trademarks and intellectual property rights from the former "Samuel Gordon Jewelers and Diamond Merchants" from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. Case # 16-10614 (Case # 16-10615.)

JewelSmiths' owner, Arthur  Gordon, is the grandson of Samuel Gordon who originally used his name in connection with jewelry in 1904.  Arthur  started working in the family jewelry business at 7-years-old. By completing the purchase of the family name, Jewelsmiths reunites a traditional family tradename with its living business legacy. Jewelsmiths is located at 6517 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.

Arthur Gordon  is a graduate of SMU, and he also attended University College in Oxford, England. Mr, Gordon is a member of AGS, The World Federation of Diamond Club Bourses, a life time Member of Polygon and a member of IWJG. Mr. Gordon wrote and published the Comprehensive Guide to Handling Jewelry Repairs which has sold to jewelers worldwide. He is an award winning jewelry designer and has recently acquired the rights to design, manufacture and sell a line of jewelry for the SRT / Hell Cat Automobile Division of Dodge Motor Company.
