Indianapolis – November 17, 2016 –  The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has fully accredited and authorized 180 Skills, LLC to operate as a postsecondary proprietary educational institution in the state of Indiana.

"Our accreditation signifies that 180 Skills is in substantial compliance with Indiana's standards," said 180 Skills CEO, Mr. Joe Kitterman.  "We are proud and pleased with the Indiana Workforce Development commendations, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to the staff who contributed to this process."

180 Skills received accreditation in over 640 competency-based skills courses, and 15 Career Programs. Programs of study include Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Safety, CNC Machining, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Composites Manufacturing and Repair, Six Sigma, Nondestructive Examination, and Aerospace Manufacturing. All of the courseware is aligned to industry recognized credentials.

180 Skills affirmation of accreditation was the result of a rigorous self-evaluation process that began in 2015 to assure the quality of education that 180 Skills provides.  "We have every reason to be proud of the affirmation of accreditation," said Brenda Cooley, Director of External Relations.
