KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. - Nov. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- It was announced earlier this week that a rival, yet still unnamed, Western publishing house has entered negotiations to purchase blockbuster Western publisher "Dusty Saddle Publishing" for a rumored six figure sum. The company has been having a run of successes this year with sales looking likely to triple over the next few months.

Robert Hanlon, recently signed by Dusty Saddle Publishing, scored one of the biggest selling Western novels of 2016. His first novel, "Texas Bounty Hunter," was published by Dusty Saddle Publishing in September 2016. This was followed closely by "Bloodshed at Pecan's Township" by recent signing P.W. Burroughs, which has almost matched the success of both "Texas Bounty Hunter" and "Apache Pass" by Western favorite Bruce G. Bennett.

The three books have reigned throughout the month of October and have moved almost 2 million pages between them. The company, which was launched in September 2016, was not expecting such demand. With over thirty new titles heading to the marketplace this year, the successful re-imagining of the Western seems to be working.  The books promoted by Novel Ideas Promotion have proven that Westerns have a strong readership, and the readership is crying out for new stories.

"We will listen to their ideas," a spokesman for the Western publisher said earlier this week. "But we have a very definite idea of what we want. We want to keep selling Westerns to an audience who want, more than ever, to be given great Western stories"

You can learn more about Robert Hanlon, Bruce G. Bennett and P.W. Burroughs by contacting their press office via Nick@nickwale.org, and you can find all of the books mentioned available for download from Amazon, along with a dozen other Western titles.
