Saint Alphonsus launches 'app' for online video visits with medical providers

BOISE, Idaho - Nov. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Saint Alphonsus has announced the release of MyeVisit®, a new telemedicine technology that allows individuals to have a secure urgent care video visit with a Saint Alphonsus doctor or other medical provider through a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer for common medical conditions.  Utilizing a device's camera, patients are now able to video chat in real-time with a medical provider to determine diagnosis, treatment options, and prescriptions from the comfort of their home or office.

MyeVisit is available 7 days per week to adults and children in Idaho or Oregon looking to receive care from a licensed medical provider.  The average time it takes to complete a MyeVisit session is 25 minutes, and the service charges a $45 flat fee to a credit or debit card*.  The MyeVisit service is currently designed to diagnose and treat 13 conditions ranging from sinus infections to bladder/urinary tract infections, with plans to offer more conditions for treatment in the future. MyeVisit medical providers also maintain communication about diagnoses and treatment with a patient's primary care medical providers, allowing a seamless continuity between MyeVisit and their established medical provider.
