American Medical Depot President of Government Business Receives Nomination from Legacy Magazine

 
MIRAMAR, Fla. - Nov. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Beverly Kuykendall, President of Government Business at American Medical Deport (AMD), has been nominated by Legacy magazine as one of South Florida's Top Black Healthcare Professionals. In 2015, Kuykendall was awarded the honor of being selected as one of South Florida's 25 Most Influential and Prominent Women in Business and Leadership. Kuykendall's most recent nomination will be published on December 2, 2016 in the Sun Sentinel Newspaper and inserted in the Business Monday section of the Miami Herald Newspaper. She will also be honored at a special reception hosted by Legacy magazine.

Kuykendall offers deep expertise in doing business with both the public and private sectors. Her facilitative approach and keen understanding of economic issues has resulted in the development of key initiatives that move companies' strategic missions forward. She has been integral to many successful projects during her career, including projects to outfit medical ships at Sea for the U.S. Navy, a project creating opportunities for the blind to create medical supplies kits for emergency initiatives, and a project providing humanitarian aid support to displaced persons in the Syrian conflict.

Beverly Kuykendall is an accomplished business professional and highly requested speaker. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 50 Most Powerful Minority Women in Business, Supplier of the Year by the Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council,  Small Business Champion of the Year by the Los Angeles District office of the U.S. Small Business Association, Entrepreneur of the Year by the Black Business Association of Los Angeles, and Advocate of the Year by the National Association of Minority Contractors of Southern California.

Kuykendall has a BS in Business Management from Cal Poly University in Pomona, California, and an MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
