NEW YORK - Nov. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Danny Ward: A writer, director and editor born in Detroit and aged in New York, Danny boasts many whimsical nicknames. He sleeps with the window open in the dead of winter. He loves live music almost as much whiskey. He writes every day - either for himself or for one of a number of clients. He started making films when he was five and has never stopped. Most recently, Danny directed and edited his own sitcom pilot, "Highlighters," the first three episodes of the award-winning web-series "Living Through The Lens" as well as the short film, "The Werewolf Hunter." He is currently in pre-production on two feature films that he wrote and will be directing, "Cleveland." and "Six Dinner Parties."

Danny Musengo: Growing up in rural Iowa, Danny developed his unique style while singing and preaching in the gospel choir of his local church by day and waling the blues in the local roadhouses and biker bars by night. It wasn't until moving to New York that he truly found his place - on stage, in the recording booth, or with his family of friends, celebrating the joy of their creations. When not playing with Fairytales for the Fatherless, Danny also writes and sings with The Ludlow Thieves and David Block: The Human Experience.

Paul Weinfield: Paul Weinfield is a singer, songwriter, meditation teacher, and former professor of Religion at Columbia University. Since 2013, his main project has been Fairytales For the Fatherless.

Luke Tedaldi: Cinematographer/ Director who has been working in branded content, short films, and music videos for over 10 years- making videos with artists like 50 cent, Akon, and Asher Roth, to living on the Canadian tundra for a month shooting videos of Polar Bears. He graduated from Brown University with a degree in film theory, before moving to Brooklyn and seeking adventure and mischief with his roommate and Fairytales For The Fathless co-creator Danny Musengo. Luke Tedaldi is an identical twin, a scoundrel, and an active werewolf.

Fairytales For The Fatherless: Rock Opera
The film, the album, the band itself were all generated from The Bogart Collective - a family of friends and artists that have come together to support each other in life's endeavors. And one of those primary endeavors has been to make art that touches, moves and inspires other people.

The emotional tone and story of Fairytales For The Fatherless (as well as the name) is inspired, in part, by the story of Danny Musengo, who, while in high school, survived a car accident which cost 5 others their lives, including his father. Having met Paul Weinfield, frontman for Tam Lin and former professor of religion at Columbia, thru the Bogart Collective, the two began writing together.

Fairytales For The Fatherless: Rock Opera is Beyonce's Lemonade and Pink Floyd's The Wall on acid... okay, more acid. Clearly, 2017 will be the year of the Visual Album. What this film brings that is unique and exciting in this developing genre is a narrative arc that transcends the individual tracks. This is not a collection of stylized music videos; this is a narrative feature. This is not an established band; this is a debut album. This is not a big budget production; this is as indie as it gets.

The concept behind this production was to create something more than an album, more than a film. It is a pairing of the two and we are incredibly excited to share it with you.
