Malfitano Partners Starts Off the Holiday Giving Season

NEW YORK - Nov. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- The holiday season is a time to give thanks and gather for a traditional holiday meal.  However, for many, the means to afford that holiday meal does not exist.  To help those in need, in partnership with the UJA-Federation of NY, Malfitano Partners has decided to provide over 60 seniors with the means to obtain that holiday meal.  The effort will be focused on seniors who attend Project Ore in New York City.  Joe Malfitano, the founder of Malfitano Partners, will be at Project Ore on November 18, 2016 to hand out gift cards to the seniors personally after serving them lunch.

"Many people look forward to sharing a holiday meal with family and friends during the holiday season," stated Joe Malfitano.  "For those who are hungry, Thanksgiving is just another day of struggling to feed themselves and their families."  We want to give these individuals and families the memory of a traditional holiday meal that they would not have otherwise."

About Project Ore

Since 1987, Project ORE has served emergency kosher meals and provided counseling, case management, and other support services to isolated, poor, homeless, and mentally ill Jews.  It is the only program of its kind in New York City.  Based on the mezzanine floor of 331 E. 12^th Street, Project ORE provides kosher, family-style community meals including a buffet breakfast, hot lunch, and food packages for Shabbat.
