Female Mechanic Audra Fordin Encourages Drivers to Explore Green Energies

FLUSHING, N.Y. - Nov. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Ethanol is the official fuel of NASCAR drivers. It's a green energy source that will lower emissions and protect the environment as it continues to gain traction in the auto industry. Audra Fordin, owner/CEO of Women Auto Know, was featured in the latest edition of American Ethanol magazine.

Audra conducted an interview with Chris Soules – Iowa farmer and leading man of "The Bachelor" – at the Southern Women's Show in Charlotte, which was attended by thousands of women. Audra and Chris made the case for ethanol to a packed audience. This event was sponsored by Growth Energy.

"People need to know they have choices at the fuel pump," said Fordin. "Ethanol is a good one."

Gasoline doesn't produce as many harmful emissions when it is blended with ethanol. In the long-term, this will make a huge impact on the environment. According to Growth Energy, a full transition to ethanol could eliminate approximately 8 million tons of greenhouse emissions on an annual basis. Ethanol also reduces the need for importing oil from foreign countries, creating jobs for Americans.

Audra reveals how to prepare for winter driving in the new issue of American Ethanol: the magazine. Her actionable and creative tips include using floor mats to get unstuck in the snow. Drivers can simply place floor mats behind their tires when they get stuck in the snow. "Floor mats have grips, can give you traction, and they're always with you," said Fordin.
