Southern Oaks Golf Club Ranks in Top Five DFW Public Courses

By entering the coveted ranks of the Top five, Southern Oaks Golf Club tops a list of DFW's most prestigious and respected courses.

Southern Oaks Golf Club sits on the southernmost edge of Fort Worth, straddling into the bedroom community of Burleson. It is the home course for the TCU Men's and Women's teams as well as several area high schools, and enjoys an active membership with a number of regular tournaments.

The current owner acquired the club just three years ago, in a state of neglect and in need of serious investment. The subsequent transformation includes white sand bunkers, a new, energy-efficient pump and a newly constructed five-thousand square foot event center.
