CINCINNATI - Nov. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Back by popular demand, Bootcamp Cincinnati is sponsoring "Xtreme Hip Hop with Phil" Hip Hop fitness classes this Saturday, Nov. 12, at 10 to 11 am or 12-1 p.m., at Woodlawn Recreation Center, 10050 Woodlawn Ave., 45215.

"`Xtreme Hip Hop with Phil' is a 60-minute cardio step class set to Old School and New School Hip Hop music. Cleveland Heights-based Phil Weeden is an international YouTube fitness sensation, whose Xtreme Hip Hop videos have millions of YouTube views.

"Boot Camp Cincinnati is excited to host Xtreme Hip Hop, with the amazing Phil Weeden again!" said Denise Bryers, founder and owner of Bootcamp Cincinnati, the event's sponsor. "When he came last summer, so many people insisted we bring him back for another of his phenomenal work-outs.

"The class fee is just $25, and part of the proceeds will go to the Boot Camp Cincinnati Fitness Fund. Come out and show your support as we aim to help people who would like to lose weight and change their lives, but cannot afford the cost of boot camp," Bryers said.

Bootcamp Cincinnati, founded and led by Denise Bryers, is an innovative, extremely effective fitness and wellness program that combines a workout regimen of cardio and strength training with nutrition and most importantly – empowerment.

Boot Camp Cincinnati has two affordable, monthly fitness packages – the "Bootcamp "on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday morning at Evanston Recreation Center. The "Sweat Camp" consists of daily 6 a.m. weekday sessions Monday through Thursday.

Sessions involve boot camp style workout routines that include fat burning cardio and strength exercises designed for people of all fitness levels. With the incidence of high blood pressure and diabetes at record levels in the African American community, this group of women and men are embracing a healthy lifestyle, which for many has meant the improvement or elimination of chronic illnesses like hypertension and diabetes.

Denise knows what it is like to go through a fitness, figure and life transformation. Although she is now a certified Personal Trainer, INSANITY instructor, Zumba Instructor and NPC Figure Competitor, her fitness journey took her from an exhausted, unhealthy 190 pounds to a fit and vital 125 pounds. Bryers was featured in a recent Oxygen magazine, which chronicled her "fitness transformation."
