Millennial Message From A Therapy DogTime to grow up and stand on your own two feet, put away the crayons, go back to class, finish that term paper, intermingle and socialize with others like yourself and DO NOT come to me to feel better.
By: Sylvia-Therapy Dog The first is a Senior Care Facility that has continuing care to help people who are living the balance of their lives. As a retired professional athlete, I left the grind of the Greyhound Race Circuit to go to my forever home with my new masters and I too am living my final years happy and secure. When I get to the Physical Therapy Department section, I love to see the faces of the patients smile and reach out to touch me. As much as I like the attention I can sense the enjoyment flowing back to them. My second spot is the local hospital where I get to see recuperating both young & old, but I must say the staff is overcome by smiles even more than those in pain. Lastly I love to go to the local VA where I hope I am going today on November 11th to visit with the brave men & women who served and gave so much so we all can be free. So I hope that you will all understand that I do not have the time to answer the many requests that our association gets from colleges near my home to come and make the students feel better. They expect to be coddled and comforted by abusing the time my masters take from earning a living and my time away from seniors, the injured or Veterans to Cumbia with them. The Millennials need to grow up, stand up and get their tails out from between their shaky legs and cherish the fact that they live in a country like ours. Oh, and if you see a Veteran today, say thank you. Give back at:https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/ Photo: https://www.prlog.org/ End
