Veranda Park Farmer's Market in Orlando to Have 50+ Booths in Second Week

ORLANDO, Fla. - Nov. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- The new Saturday farmer's market in Orlando, Veranda Park Farmer's Market, had a great opening day last Saturday and now their second week will have over 50 booths.  Veranda Park Farmer's Market runs from 9-1 every Saturday inside MetroWest at Veranda Park located near 2121 S. Hiawassee Road.

The Veranda Park Farmer's Market is a great new addition to a section of Orlando that has been without a local farmer's market.  Conveniently located near Windermere, Dr. Phillips, and Millennia, the Saturday farmers market will serve the area between Winter Garden and downtown Orlando with local food, vendors, fresh produce, organic/gluten-free foods, and other handmade items.

Market Manager, Kelly Gaw, said, "Many of the vendors and area residents have already taken some ownership in this event to make sure as many people know about it.  I am very excited to be involved with this event and to bring this area together to have some fun and fellowship."

Currently the market has over 63 total vendors ranging from local grass-fed/grass-finished beef, local cage-free chickens, fresh produce, fresh seafood, plants, handmade products, and a ton of different take home food and eat now food.  "Next week, Nov 19th - our third week , we are looking to have all our vendors in attendance plus all the booths that we fill up until that time.  We are trying our best hit 80 booths very soon!"

"We have tried to find as many unique, organic and locally grown/made products as possible.", remarked the market manager.  "I am very confident that over the course of the next few weeks when more of Orlando hears about our market that we will get even more."
