Christine Ball Appointed as Executive Director

WHITBY, Ontario - Nov. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- The Durham Sustain Ability (DSA) Board of Directors is excited to announce the appointment of Christine Ball to the position of Executive Director. The selection was made after conducting an extensive search process, which was open to both internal and external candidates, to fill the vacancy.

"We are pleased we are able to fill this lead position from within the organization," remarked Terry Green, Board Chair. "Christine's inspired leadership, creativity and deep sense of commitment to our organization and to our stakeholders was apparent in her previous role as Marketing and Program Manager and makes her an ideal fit for the position."

Christine has over 15 years of marketing, customer relations and consulting expertise.  Her boundless passion for sustainability is demonstrated by certification in Sustainable Energy and Conservation, Net Zero Water for Buildings and Sites and as a Sustainable Building Advisor.

"I look forward to continuing to serve our membership and our many partners and sponsors across Durham Region in this new capacity," notes Christine. "This marks the beginning of an exciting stage in DSA's journey and I'm proud and excited to be leading the charge."
