PatelBy: San Francisco Boy Scouts The upcoming 2016 gala is scheduled for Saturday, December 3 at the Westin St. Francis on Union Square in San Francisco. In recent years, the Gala Committee has focused on stemming the tide of youth violence by providing educational programs that focus on developing leadership skills and building personal character. As a result, thousands of youth are given a week at camp to have experiences outside of their urban neighborhoods. Mr. Patel is a Managing Director with Spear Street Capital, a private equity fund that acquires and operates office properties in technology related markets nationwide. With a transaction volume exceeding $6 billion, Patel has bought, sold or financed real estate investments in most major markets across the United States. His primary focus is overseeing the company's investment activities and spearheading many of the firm's strategic initiatives. "Proceeds from the Gala are currently on pace to reach a significant record," said Frank Yoke, Deputy Scout Executive & Deputy C.E.O., San Francisco Bay Area Boy Scouts of America. "The support from Mr. Patel's followers has been impressive to say the least," added Yoke. "We expect this to be a record year which will enable us to send even more scouts to camp."
