Across the Outback: Help Michele Evangelisti to support AUS Niguarda Onlus

He will be running Across Australia from Darwin -Northern Territory- the 13th of November and he will cross the Outback to reach Adelaide -South Australia- till the 31st of December...Just less than 50 days to run 3.100Km in the Outback and to manage unexpected delays…because there is no better way to live, experience, discover, and meet a territory and the people who live there.

Michele Evangelisti, an Ultra trailer, a traveller, an explorer, a citizen of the world. He says "Sports are the opportunity for redemption and rebirth. I want to run to make sports possible for every person who would like to do it! That's why I'll raise funds for AUS Niguarda Onlus, an association that supports the Spinal Unit of the Niguarda Hospital."

AUS Niguarda Onlus is a non-profit organization established in 1998 to promote the realization in Lombardy of a center dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of spinal cord injury: the Unipolar Spinal Unit of Niguarda, open to the public in 2002. Today the Unipolar Spinal Unit of Niguarda is one of the most important Italian centers dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of people with spinal cord injury and of children born with Spina Bifida.

A photographer and a physiotherapist will go along with Michele and they all are enthusiastic of going in an expedition in order to help people who have special needs! Michele says "My motivation is not simply based on running from Darwin to Adelaide; we want to help those who would never been able to do it, in improving their life conditions. That's what we'll do if we get your support. Your donation will increase our possibility to help concretely AUS Niguarda Onlus, in buying medical devices for spinal cord injuries or Spina Bifida. These devices will allow injured people in going back to sports" says Michele.
