ProEx Physical Therapy announces Lori Duran as full-time Director of Health and Wellness

WOBURN, Mass. - Nov. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- ProEx, a physical therapist owned private practice specializing in orthopedics, spine and sports medicine is pleased to announce that Lori Duran of Woburn, Massachusetts has been named full-time Director of Health and Wellness, working with staff, patients and employees of the company's corporate wellness contracts.

Duran has held the Director's post at ProEx since 2012 on a part-time basis and has been instrumental in establishing the practice's corporate wellness vision and developing its more holistic clinical approach to treating physical therapy patients called ProEx for Life.  Her transition to full-time will allow ProEx to fully realize its vision to offer its patients and corporate clients the education and tools to improve overall health and wellness.

Duran has an extensive history in personal, academic and professional health and wellness.  Prior to joining ProEx she served as a private health coach and taught Food, Nutrition and Wellness at Woburn Memorial High School.

She was a three-sport, intercollegiate athlete while at Utica College of Syracuse University and coached Division I, II and III athletics over a 10-year period.  Duran received a Master's degree in Sports Administration with a concentration in Wellness from Ball State University's Fisher Institute for Wellness and completed a one-year certification program from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  She is certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and SUNY Purchase College.

Duran lives in Woburn with her husband Jim and their two children.In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling with and cheering-on her children at their sporting events and supporting family, friends & community in feeling great by making healthy lifestyle choices.
