Brant Brown, Chief Financial Officer at Westmount Realty Capital, Takes on Expanded Role as COO

DALLAS - Nov. 3, 2016 - PRLog -- Westmount Realty Capital (http://www.westmountrc.com/) (Westmount) announced today that Brant Brown, the company's chief financial officer (CFO) has also been named as chief operating officer (COO). Brown, who joined Westmount in October 2015 as CFO, will broaden his focus to include company-wide leadership and talent development, marketing, IT strategy and investment management as COO.

Prior to joining Westmount as CFO in 2015, Brown spent more than a decade working with Fortress Private Equity affiliate Nationstar Mortgage, Invesco Real Estate (http://www.invesco.com/corporate) and Ashford Hospitality (http://www.ahtreit.com/). Brown began his career working with endowments and large institutional investors at Merit Energy (https://www.meritenergy.com/), a private energy company with more than $6 billion in portfolio investments. In total, he was directly involved with or led the financial analysis and governance for more than $30 billion in institutional real estate and alternative investments.
