Nf Midwest Given Top Rated Nonprofit Award

ST. CHARLES, Ill. - Nov. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- NF Midwest announced today that it has been honored with a prestigious Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.

"We are excited to be named a Top-Rated 2016 Nonprofit and honored by the wonderful reviews of our supporters and clients," says Diana Haberkamp, Executive Director of NF Midwest. NF Midwest is especially proud of our accomplishments this year, including working to clarify procedure codes to improve care options for patients with neurofibromatosis; the establishment of academic scholarships for young adults with NF; the continued funding of clinical trial support; our support of kids who want to attend camp; and our general efforts to improve care and build a community of support. The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that NF Midwest received – reviews written by volunteers, donors and clients. The Top-Rated Awards ran through the end of October and NF Midwest was part of the inaugural group to qualify for the year. In addition, we've been added to GreatNonprofits #GivingTuesday Guide—an interactive guide to top nonprofits throughout the years. Look for this near the holidays.
