Roxana Shirkhoda Joins NPX as Director, Advisory Services

SAN FRANCISCO - Nov. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- NPX, an innovative company that is transforming how impact is financed in the nonprofit sector, today announced that Roxana Shirkhoda has joined the company as Director, Advisory Services. Roxana will work alongside the Co-CEOs to shape and implement the advisory services strategy. She will work closely with NPX's nonprofit and donor clients to structure, manage and execute Impact Securities across multiple issue areas. She will also take the lead in building the capabilities of the firm, with responsibilities ranging from business strategy and thought leadership to operations.

The announcement was made by NPX Co-Founders and Co-CEOs Lindsay Beck and Catarina Schwab. "We are thrilled to have Roxana join the team as our first hire. She is dynamic and razor-sharp with rich experience in disruptive philanthropy and a shared desire to unlock the true potential of the nonprofit sector," said Catarina.

Prior to NPX Roxana served as Interim CEO at Full Circle Fund where she focused on engaging 175+ Bay Area members to advise nonprofits in areas such as finance, marketing, and strategy development. She worked at Google for five years managing a $2M annual portfolio of 35+ global nonprofits. She was responsible for vetting, funding, advising, and scaling the reach of organizations teaching girls and low-income students computer science. Roxana also spent time at Target overseeing $98M of annual sales across four brand categories. She received her BA from the University of Michigan and her MA from Stanford University.
