Media Sneak Peek of CIDE Nutcracker

CARMEL, Ind. - Nov. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- For the first time ever, Central Indiana Dance Ensemble is inviting the media to a special sneak peek of their annual performance, of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker.

Central Indiana Dance Ensemble, (CIDE), is a pre-professional dance company under the direction of Artistic Director Suzann DeLay. The media is invited to attend a special "Nutcracker Sneak Peek" on Monday, November 14, 2016, 9:30 a.m. at the Central Indiana Academy of Dance studios, 14950 Greyhound Court, Carmel, Indiana.

CIDE will perform excerpts of the show's three most popular dances including the Sugar Plum pas de deux, Snow Queen pas de deux and party scene.  The media is invited to film and interview the dancers to discover what it takes to put on this full length, iconic, holiday production.

At the Sneak Peek, reporters will garner an understanding of the difference between a dance studio and a pre-professional company; as well as gain insight to the number of hours these students spend in the studio rehearsing to perfect their craft in preparation for a career in ballet while maintaining a rigorous academic schedule.
