Horror Movie Maestro Todd Haberman Returns on "The Charnel House"

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 31, 2016 - PRLog -- Todd Haberman, one of LA's most sought after horror composers, is back with another spine chilling score just in time for Halloween. On November 4th the composer will unveil his wicked new sound at the premiere of 'The Charnel House,' the new horror flick that promises a bloody good time! Directed by Craig Moss, the film stars Erik LaRay Harvey (Stranger Things), Joe Keery (Luke Cage), and Nadine Velazquez (Flight).



Following release of this summer's occult crime-drama 'Satanic,' horror's music henchman returns to petrify audiences once again with more fear via the latest haunted house thriller.

"I love creating and embellishing the nerve-wracking and terrifying scenes. I actually relish the opportunity to go over the music after I think I'm done with it and find new ways to make it creepier and scarier," admits the composer who's already working on his next score, 'Twelve Feet Deep'.

In the New dark thriller, a long abandoned slaughterhouse is transformed into modern lofts in a re-gentrified urban neighborhood. Soon after tenants move in they are tormented by a dark secret that has been trapped in the building for over 30 years.

When speaking of his work, the composer explains that having the perfect sounds is crucial to each scene in a film.

"If you see a girl walking down a dark hall, you're not scared because it's just a girl in a hall; that's where I come in," the composer says confidently. "Once the music is added, the scene changes dramatically ... I bring in the fear!"

Haberman is no newcomer when it comes to composing scores for horror films. Aside from his recent work on 'Satanic' (2016), he's also created worked on other frightfully delicious movies like "Eagle Eye' (2008), 'The Hollow (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xHSMGgCCog)' (2004), and even the hit Netflix original series, 'Hemlock Grove' (2015).
