It is happening families across the country by CPS, Child Protective Services, to protect educators from the incompetence supervision that causes injury to our children in the classroom or playground.  CPS redirects the attention onto the parents, placing them in an obvious defensive position while ignoring the facts where the spotlight must be redirected on those responsible.  Their fear?  Countless of lawsuits against the school district and county agencies.

By placing blame on the parents for abusive injury, creates a domino effect of allegations and emotional trauma for the family.  In most cases, the school will not return your calls, ignore demands for an explanation of what happened on school property, and always ensure that county CPS officers focus on the parents and not the responsible party despite staff members acknowledging there was an accident and the parents were never told.

OUR STORY
This is the story of Joseph and our plea to return our four-year-old son to us, his tormented parents.  Our only hope is sharing our story with other parents who will support our fight to protect children and parents from this manipulation by the very people you entrust to care for your children.
Our mantra is simple, "this abuse must stop".  This manipulation of protecting county workers to avoid legal recourse must be changed.  We must hold them accountable.  The focus must come from a third party that does not have a conflict of interest.  The spotlight must be on those responsible for our children's care whom we entrust, who cover up an injury, and they must be held accountable.  There must be punishment for those that hurl false accusations turning a family's world into a nightmare.   The cost becomes prohibitive--this is a "guilty until you prove yourself innocent" as both husband and wife must have two different defense attorneys and the cost of experts to determine the facts behind the injury.  And if found innocent, not even an apology or opportunity for restitution. http://www.ourcpsnightmare.com
