BarkAid Comes to Las Vegas for Hearts Alive Village

LAS VEGAS - Oct. 28, 2016 - PRLog -- For the fifth year, master stylist Patrick Lomantini and Team will be kicking off the BarkAID Lomantini National Tour (50 States Tour) to raise funds for animal shelters and rescues across the country. Lomantini's ultimate road trip will be visiting each of the U.S 50 States, landing in Las Vegas on November 5, 2016 to benefit Hearts Alive Village Las Vegas. Lomantini and Team will be donating their time, resources and services during the 50 States tour while asking for donations of $20/$25 or more to help support the cause. About BarkAID

BarkAID, established in 2010, is a self-funded, registered 501c3 non-profit organization based out of the State of Kansas. Their mission is to raise funds and awareness for homeless animals, as well as educate people about what is happening with animals in their communities. BarkAID raises funds for shelters and pet adoption organizations in all 50 States. About Hearts Alive Village

Hearts Alive Village Las Vegas is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to secure loving and stable homes for dogs and cats at risk of being lost in the shelter system. Through a variety of programs such as Kendall's Kupboard (a pet food and supply pantry), Hearts Alive aims to keep pets in their original homes whenever possible. Their Veteran's program, Charlie Mike, matches veterans with emotional support animals rescued from shelters, and provides medical care, food, and support for the pets. The recently launched Chi of Hearts is focused on rescuing and re-homing Chihuahuas, one of the most at risk breeds in local shelters, and Hearts Alive Village provides Humane Education to youth groups throughout the valley teaching responsible pet ownership, safety, and empathy.  "Over 20,000 animals are killed in the Las Vegas valley shelters each year," said Christy Stevens, founder of Hearts Alive Village, "For us, it has to be about more than the rescue."
