Kemco Systems, Clearwater, FL, recently announced Mr. Tom Vanden Heuvel as its new President.

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Oct. 28, 2016 - PRLog -- Kemco Systems, Co. LLC, a global water and energy technology company that develops innovative products to solve some of the world's most challenging resource conservation problems, is pleased to announce the appointment of industry veteran Tom Vanden Heuvel to the team.

Mr. Vanden Heuvel joins Kemco as President. He is formerly a senior executive at Crane Co.  Having full P&L responsibility at Crane Water, he transitioned the team through the carve-out and integration to Newterra.  He led the combined industrial business unit with an employee base across four sites in two countries.

Prior to Crane, Tom served as General Manager of ITT's C'treat Offshore business in Texas, a global ISO 9001 manufacturer of custom water treatment equipment servicing the offshore oil and gas markets.  Tom holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A, from the University of Wisconsin.

"I couldn't be more excited about the future for Kemco," says CEO, Carroll Gorrell. "Expanding deeper into the water treatment and filtration markets will be central to our strategy.  With water shortages affecting several regions of the country, demand for water recycling to replace diminishing reserves is expected to intensify.  With Tom's background and our increasing presence, the company will accelerate its leadership position in these markets."

Kemco designs and manufactures fully integrated water reclamation systems to match the individual requirements of industrial and commercial plants across a wide range of industries.  Kemco's innovative water and energy solutions started with the patented Direct Contact Water Heater. This guaranteed 99.7% fuel efficient water heater is the first step in unsurpassed fuel savings, wastewater heat energy reclamation, water conservation, and sewer cost savings.

Kemco's newest innovation for treating high-strength industrial wastewater is the CMF/RO combination. This patent-pending process takes advantage of the robust Ceramic Microfiltration (CMF) to remove Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Oils and Greases (O&G). This first step, in combination with Kemco's specially designed Reverse Osmosis (RO) System, can produce treated water that is of the highest standard. The RO can then remove Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) such as salts, sugars, detergents and other contaminants, achieving low TDS, low BOD and exceptional water which can be reused back into the industrial process.
