SCREENING @ 6:00PM

The NAKED POET (A Heart Divided) is the story of a poet called Lazarus. The film explores the relationships between his friends, family and lovers. Can a man be in love with more than one woman? Do the sins of the father visit the next generation? Do men and women really process love and sex differently, these issues and more are looked at in this British romantic drama. The Naked Poet has a heartfelt undertone of poetry all set to a beautiful London backdrop: Starring Jason Barrett, Petra Letang, Michael Harvey, Kyla Frye, Aml Ameen, Kelle Bryan, Michelle Gayle, Mohammed George and Fabrisio Santino.

EVERYTHING BUT A MAN - Q&A SCREENING @ 9:00PM

She's Sexy, Strong, Successful... and still single.

A successful African-American career woman has a life-changing romance with a mysterious, French-speaking black man from another culture, whose lifestyle differences challenge her Westernized beliefs on love, relationships and what it means to be a "strong" woman.

Race, class, gender and culture all clash in this unconventional romantic drama. Join us for the New York premiere screening to be followed by a Q&A with lead actor Jimmy Jean-Louis!

(Dir. Nnegest Likké, 110 min, 2016, US, Romantic Drama, English)
