By: Neighborhood Housing Services of New Orleans Presented by NeighborWorks America, the luncheon will allow guests the opportunity to dine with local celebrities while making a tangible impact on New Orleans families and bid on a range of intriguing auction items. Legendary burlesque entertainer Trixie Minx will star as the event's master of ceremonies. Some of the other celebrity guests include: Mayor Mitch Landrieu Sidney Torres Jen Hale Jack and Ruth Sutton Councilmember LaToya Cantrell Margarita Bergen Damon Burns Patrick Van Hoorebeek Delisha Boyd Anais St. John "New Orleans is such an incredibly attractive place to live," Amy Batiste, CEO of NHS said. "We want to continue to provide opportunities to all those who call the Crescent City home, especially the ones who remained here after Hurricane Katrina and continue to make it such a unique, soulful city." Those who cannot make the event but would like to support NHS can make a $40 "Pay It Forward" Donation in honor of organization's four decades of service to the local community.
