Ogre Sauce - from the trunk of the car to success on Kickstarter

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Oct. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- Michael "Ogre" Weeks had been making his Ogre Sauce for over a decade for his friends and family. That lead to him making big enough batches to sell out of his trunk of his car while on break at work. This caught the eye of his buddy Mike Vagianos, who bottled it and unleashed it on the world. Their other buddy Chris Lawson was able to organize the huge swath of Ogre Sauce fans into a crowdsourcing juggernaut. This is a story of Ogre living his dream, with the help of his good friends.

Ogre Sauce is an All-Purpose BBQ Sauce created in Charlotte NC. We call it "All- Purpose" because it can used on so many foods, with mouth watering results - not just traditional barbecue. Mike "Ogre" Weeks found his grandmother's recipe, made it his own, and before long he was selling it in 5 gallon buckets out of the trunk of his car. With the recipe perfected, we bottled it, and now want the whole world to taste it.

Our vision is to continue to be different than other sauce companies. We will use the money raised through Kickstarter to bring new and innovative products to the sauce market, such as

• Yearly sauce subscription plans
• Craft 6-packs
• Work towards becoming Certified Organic and Certified Gluten Free
• Create new varieties such as Vegan and Spicy
