K9 Fit Club® Wins Finalist Spot in the Purina's Pet Care Innovation Prize!

CHICAGO - Oct. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- K9 Fit Club®, the nation's pioneer and leader in human/canine fitness, has won Purina's Pet Care Innovation Prize and is now officially a finalist for the grand prize. Purina® announced the finalists at the highly anticipated #BetterWithPets 2016 Summit event held on Tuesday, October 18th at the Brooklyn Expo Center in New York.

The Pet Care Innovation Prize brings together resources to accelerate exciting and innovative pet care entrepreneurs so that dog and cat owners can benefit from meaningful innovations. The competition was strong, and Purina® looked for companies with qualities such as; innovative potential, traction and scalability, the degree with which working with the Pet Care Innovation Prize and Nestle Purina Petcare could have a positive impact, and strength of the team.

K9 Fit Club® is one of five finalist who received The Pet Care Innovation Prize. In addition to the $10,000 cash award and support for continuing to grow business; finalists get an all-expenses-paid three day intensive Boot Camp on growing innovative pet care companies. This will be held the week of November 14 in St. Louis, MO, including mentoring by successful pet care entrepreneurs and valuable educational content.

At the end of the Boot Camp, the Finalists will pitch to high level executives to determine the uniqueness and potential of their product, their business plan and their team. While all will receive valuable publicity, one Grand Prize winner will be decided by these industry leaders to get cash and business support to exhibit at Global Pet Expo in 2017.
