Novo Precision Introduces Firearms Division

BRISTOL, Conn. - Oct. 28, 2016 - PRLog -- Novo Precision, maker of precision parts and machinery for the wire industry, has begun manufacturing for the firearm industry.  Novo for years has been known for its high quality wire straightening equipment and contract production for the medical and aerospace industries amongst others has begun the process of diversifying into this growing market.  Company President Bill Hazard has over 10 years experience in firearms leadership with Remington including running 10 different firearm companies.  "This was a natural progression and diversification move for Novo with our engineering and machining capabilities" states Hazard.

Novo has started its entry into firearms by manufacturing pistol barrel blanks and small parts including hammers, trigger guards and grip safeties.  The company has enough capacity to produce hundreds of parts a day giving it flexibility to serve the large companies as well as the start ups.  "We are looking to form partnerships with our customers and be a long term provider of quality parts, delivered on time and at a fair price" says Hazard.  The company is currently manufacturing many style of pistol barrels for OEM and aftermarket including 1911, Glock and Springfield models but has the engineering capacity to work with companies on their own custom models.  Novo's process is completely done through CNC machinery so it allows them to be very flexible with customer's designs.

With the pistol barrels, Novo has also launched a few precision small parts within firearms.  Currently they are taking orders for trigger guards, hammers and grip safeties.  "We have a very strong operational capabilities including engineering & building our own equipment and fixturing.  This gives usthe ability to be very quick and competitive."
