Arcraft launches CNC automatic ball valve cladding system

MUMBAI, India - Oct. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Arcraft Plasma Equipments ( I ) Pvt Ltd has launched a CNC controlled PTA automatic ball valve cladding system .

Advances in the field of Electrical, Electronics, Metallurgy has made this process affordable to the industries in the field of hard-facing.

The hardfacing and cladding process is  used to protect and minimize abrasion , erosion  , wear and impact in mechanical systems. In industrial applications  high level of  abrasion, impact, or heat causes wear and tear on mechanical components of low hardness steel components . Bearing in mind the cost factor of exotic high hardness metals the solution is to manufacture the component of a lower cheaper grade of steel and hardface the side   exposed to harsh working conditions for a longer life and substantial cost savings .

PTA Hard-facing, synonymous with surface engineering for metals is well established process and procedure for many decades. The complete automation and computer controlled automatic cladding eliminates the need for skilled labour and close monitoring of the operating parameters . The computer can be pre programmed with the parameters for the different sizes of valves . During operation all the operator has to do is recall the parameters as per valve size and enter on the computer .
