Jewelry Box Of Lake Forest Raises $4k+ For Breast Cancer Solutions

LAKE FOREST, Calif. - Oct. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- In one fun-filled evening, The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest raised more than $4,000 for Breast Cancer Solutions. "We're thrilled by the support from our customers and friends," said Christine Anzell, co-owner. "The event was completely sold out, and the diamond giveaway was won by one of our regular customers, which made it extra special."

Each year, The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest hosts an event where guests receive a glass of champagne in exchange for their donation. Each glass contains a sparkling gem: 99 are crystal, and one is a 1 carat diamond. "This year's diamond has a retail value of $3,000," co-owner Jack Levenson said. The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest also sells special Breast Cancer Awareness watches during this event; all proceeds are donated to Breast Cancer Awareness. "These were a great success as well. With the watch sales, we were able to raise $4,159!"

Breast Cancer Solutions supports Orange County residents as they receive treatment for breast cancer. This support can include transportation, assistance with meals, and financial support. "When you have to be at the doctor's office for treatment, you can't be at work, and that hurts people," Anzell said. "Breast Cancer Solutions steps in to help, and we're proud to support them in their mission."
