Accumen Leaders to Participate in Planetree International Conference on Patient-Centered Care

SAN DIEGO - Oct. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Over 1000 healthcare industry professionals will gather for the 24^th annual Planetree International Conference on Patient-Centered Care from October 30^th to November 2^nd  at the Downtown Chicago Marriott. As the longest running conference on patient-centered care, this conference brings together innovation and leadership in an environment where both industry leaders, patients and their families share stories, insights and solutions in breakout sessions and panel discussions. The insights shared will help highlight the vital contributions made by each individual in an organization towards realizing a more patient-centered healthcare system. On Monday, October 31, 2016, Murphy will present "The Next Transformation: A Patient-Centric, Value-Based HealthCare Model."  The presentation will identify strategies, tools, and technology that are necessary to achieve higher quality care while simultaneously lowering costs. Murphy received her MPH in Health Service Administration from San Diego State University-California State University and is a nationally recognized speaker and published author on the topics of laboratory transformation, healthcare reform, and patient-centered care.

An impressive list of keynote speakers is planned for the event, including Declara Inc.'s CEO Ramona Pierson; national speaker Alex Sheen of "Because I said I Would"; Nancy Frates, developer of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge; and Professor and Psychiatrist Vikram Patel.
