Tickets can be purchased at the event entrance for all booth activities. There will be carnival style food and snacks, nonalcoholic beverages, event T-shirts, and live music. Games, contests and activities will include a dunking booth, face painting, photos with props, corn hole toss, a gold fish bowl, football and ring tosses, pine seedlings for planting fun, another man's treasure, guess your weight, and art activities.
Community sponsors are Matlacha Mariners, Matlacha Hookers, Pine Island Kiwanis, Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, Olde Fish House Marina, Calusa Land Trust, Pine Island Garden Club, Beacon of Hope, Greater Pine Island Lions Club, and Pine Island Fire Department, in addition to several churches and other groups on the Island.
"We're excited to join forces with most of the local civic and charitable organizations on Pine Island to provide a fun family event to raise money that will stay right here on the island to help local neighbors in need," said Wayne Reed, president of the Matlacha Mariners.
Bring the whole family Saturday, November 19 to enjoy the food, fun and festivities for good causes. For complete details, visit http://www.MatlachaMariners.org.
