Upstate heating and air company to give free heating system to local family in need

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Oct. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- As part of its "Warm Hearts, Warm Homes" heating system giveaway, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning will be taking nominations throughout the month of November for deserving individuals and families in need of a new heating system.

"For many of our Upstate neighbors, repairing or replacing a failed heating and cooling system just isn't an option. They simply can't afford it," says Charles Crumpton, owner of One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. "We opened in 2003 and we've been very fortunate, developing a loyal customer base that has enabled us to grow and prosper along the way. This is our chance to show our appreciation by paying it forward."

Beginning on November 1, 2016, nominations can be submitted for Upstate residents who are in need of a new heating system for their home. Individuals can nominate themselves or someone they know online at http://upstateheatandair.com/giveaway/. Nominations will be accepted through 6:00 p.m. on November 31, 2016. All applications will be reviewed, and the selected recipient will receive a complete new Luxaire heating and air conditioning system designed to meet the specific requirements of their home.

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning's Senior Service Technician and Training Advisor, Jim Nelms, has a long history of servicing Upstate residents. He knows just how tough the cold – and the heat – can be on his less fortunate neighbors.

"I have met families who go without heating or cooling because they don't have the means to repair or replace their systems," said Nelms. "We always do what we can to help families that need it. My job is to do everything I can to make each house more comfortable for the people who call it home. This giveaway will literally change some people's lives."

Nominations will be considered based on a variety of criteria including but not limited to: financial challenges, disabilities, illness, job loss, military service, and senior citizen status. The winning application will be determined by One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. Only one system will be awarded. Only owners of an owner-occupied, single-family home are eligible. One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning asks that each applicant submit only one nomination. All nomination information will be kept confidential.
