Boca Raton Bowl Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase & College Spirit Night Returns

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Oct. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- Food, fun, football and 'fan and fund' raising are all in the evening's 'game plan' as one of the Boca Raton Bowl's most popular open-to-the-public lead-in events, the Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase & College Spirit Night returns to 'community cheerlead' and kick-off a fan-tastic wave of Palm Beach County pride for the County's own annual college football bowl game. Continuing in its 'culinary and community' tradition, this year's showcase will be a big night for college football fans -- donned in their own college alma mater colors – as they enjoy tastings of 'coolest, hottest and most creative and quenching' football tailgating food and drink served up by more than 20 of the area's top country club, hotel, restaurant, corporate and catering chefs. There will be a wide selection, from farm-to-table, tapas-style and coolest choice to grilling favorites, brews, cocktails, munchies and the 'sweetest' desserts, as a panel of 'foodie and family fun' expert judges will select their winners by category. Local football, community and ESPN West Palm on-air personalities will vote for their MVP (Most Valuable Player) and MSP (Most Spirited Player); event guests get to pick their own People's Choice. Adding to the holiday magic for children, the event proceeds benefit the Boca Raton Bowl Charity Partner, the Spirit of Giving and its annual holiday gift drive.

To rally community excitement and pride for the 2016 Boca Raton Bowl postseason college football game that will match two teams selected from partners Conference USA, American Athletic Conference and Mid-American Conference on Tuesday, December 20, at FAU Stadium. Dubbed 'Boca's Biggest Annual Outdoor Party℠, the Boca Raton Bowl is the newest Boca holiday-timed tradition as an ESPN nationally televised spotlight shines brightly on Boca Raton and Palm Beach County. As one of 41 bowl games and the only one in Palm Beach County, the Boca Raton Bowl features all the traditional pomp and circumstance that makes game day a genuinely fun, entertaining experience for both college football fans and non-fans alike.
