Samsung Electronics Levant Sponsors the 3rd International Conference of the School of Medicine, Unive

AMMAN, Jordan - Oct. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- Amman, Jordan (October 2016) – Samsung Electronics Levant sponsored the Third International Conference of the School of Medicine, University of Jordan between the 5-7^th of October, 2016.

Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein, inaugurated the conference, with the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Mahmoud Al Sheyab, along with more than 400 practitioners, experts and academics from Jordan and abroad.

The conference shed light on the use of simulation techniques in medical education and its positive impact as an educational method, indicating how it had become an integral part of present medical education.

Mr. Fadi Abu Shamat, Head of Retail and Corporate Marketing at Samsung Electronics Levant, commented on Samsung's sponsorship for this event, by saying: "We, at Samsung Electronics Levant, are continuously drawn to take part in such scientific activities. The 3^rd International Conference of the School of Medicine is remarkably important for Jordan and the region for hosting  a group of local and international experts, who focused on issues related to medical education and its challenges, 'simulation' in Jordan and the region, types of simulation techniques such as medical virtual reality."

During the event, HRH Princess Muna Al Hussein rewarded Samsung Electronics Levant with a recognition plaque for the company's efforts in sponsoring this initiative. "This generous gesture of HRH gives us a huge boost to continue our activities to support and enhance education in the Kingdom." said Mr. Abu Shamat.
