Follow on Google News | Preview of AML Wrestling Presents: Dog Eat DogLive pro wrestling returns to High Point, NC for 2 family-friendly TV tapings on October 22 and 23. This is the official preview of Dog Eat Dog on Saturday, October 22.
By: WrestleCade Entertainment As the days get shorter and the air gets cooler, America's Most Liked Wrestling is hitting its stride. After the explosive events of September 23 in Lexington, AML Wrestling presents not one but TWO exciting events in one weekend, at one venue. AML will be returning to the Southside Recreation Center on Saturday October 22 for AML Wrestling Presents: Dog Eat Dog and on Sunday October 23 for AML Wrestling Presents: Cornette Cup Tag Team Tournament. Here is the official preview of Dog Eat Dog. King Shane Williams (with Queen Taylor) vs. Damien Wayne for King Shane's AML Wrestling Championship. This is a return match from Friends & Foes in September. Last month, the Xpendables (Zane Dawson, Sigmon, Elliot Russell, and George South) interrupted the match, attacking both the champion and challenger. Dawson was so incensed that his rival Damien Wayne received a title shot before him he resolved to wreak havoc. Wreak havoc he did, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. Even without the outside distraction that looms, the matchup looks like an even one. Both men are ring veterans going back two decades, so expect a hard-fought contest. What will the Xpendables do? We will find out Saturday night. The AML Wrestling Championship hangs in the balance. Scott's Pick: King Shane Williams retains. Zane Dawson is nothing but a distraction. Jordan Kage vs. Brandon Scott for Kage's AML Prestige championship. Kage narrowly defeated "The Revolutionary" Luke Hawx vs. CW Anderson. The last time a North Carolina audience saw Luke Hawx, he lost an "instant classic" steel cage match at Wrestlecade IV against Gunner that featured a heart-stopping, death-defying top-of-the-cage blockbuster that brought the house down. ECW legend CW Anderson just emerged from back-to-back brawls with Zane Dawson that ended both times in disappointing defeat. Both men look to return to their winning ways in High Point. The only thing we can guarantee is that the match will be violent. Scott's pick: Gotta pick CW. I've never seen him lose three times in a row. Axton Ray vs. Billy Brash. Axton Ray is the high-flying tag team specialist looking to move up in the AML singles rankings. Billy Brash vied for the AML Wrestling Prestige Championship a few months ago in his only AML Wrestling action to date. Axton will want to keep a fast pace where his high-flying style will work the best. Billy Brash will want to keep Axton as grounded as possible, as a slow and methodical pace is his best pathway to victory. Whoever wins this clash of styles is likely to win here, bringing the winner closer to a singles title match. Scott's pick: Axton Ray wins Sean Denny (w/Mark Denny) vs. Timmy Lou Retton vs. White Mike. This triple threat match has a little bit of everything. It features an angry and spiteful Sean Denny, wrestling his first AML match since the Geordie Bulldogs lost the AML tag team championship thanks to Zane Dawson's outside interference. Timmy Lou Retton, wrestling's only male gymnast, returns after a long AML Wrestling absence. White Mike wrestles his first main-roster match without his mentor Tommy Thomas. Mark Denny will be looming on the outside, but this match has the potential to be a wild one whether the Supervisors of Snapmare City have anything nefarious planned or not. Scott's Pick: Sean Denny takes out his frustrations on his younger opponents and gets help from Mark Denny to get the victory. The Xpendables (Zane Dawson, Sigmon, and Elliot Russell) vs. Labron James Elite (Labron Kozone, James Ryan, and Cam Carter) This is the Xpendables' first match as a unit since they burst onto the scene in Lexington in September. The tag team champions Sigmon and Russell team up with the most vile rulebreaker in the game in Dawson to take on the young Labron-James team along with cruiserweight Cam Carter. This looks like a mismatch on paper. Scott's Pick: The Xpendables win without breaking a sweat. All of the action goes down Saturday, October, 22, 2016 at the Southside Rec Center in High Point, NC. Doors open at 6pm for rows 1-3, 6:30pm for General Admission with a 7pm bell time. Each child 10 and under are FREE with a paid adult.
