Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland Comes Back to Big Butler Fairgrounds This Holiday Season

BUTLER, Pa. - Oct. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- In partnership with Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau, Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland will be back for the second year at the Big Butler Fairgrounds this holiday season. The award-winning Christmas light and music extravaganza is unlike any other light show. Guests tune their radios and watch the magic unfold as they drive through hundreds of thousands of brilliant LED lights dancing in perfect synchronization.

The kick off date is Friday, November 18^th and goes through the holiday season ending on Sunday, January 8^th. Hours are dusk to 10 p.m. nightly and will stay open later on the weekends.

Jack Cohen, President of Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau was instrumental in bringing Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland to western Pennsylvania. "I'm thrilled that families have the opportunity to create a new holiday tradition with Shadrack. It's a great family event and I'm hopeful it will continue to light up Butler County for many more years to come." said Cohen.


In addition to the light show, guests can visit Santa's Village for photo opportunities with Santa as well as a letter writing station to write Christmas letters to Santa through December 24^th. Refreshments, crafts and other activities will also be available and festive holiday décor displays.

Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland is $25 per car or family van, $40 for a mini-bus, limousine or activity van and school and tour buses are $80. Traffic patterns have been improved this year to cut back on wait times. Items in Santa's Village are an additional cost. A portion of the proceeds will benefit WTAE's Project Bundle-Up.

Shadrack hosted its first light show in 2007 and since has expanded to new locations each year. Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland integrates cutting-edge technology, lights, music and movement with all custom-built, animated elements featuring 100% environmentally friendly LED lights. The show is updated each year with fresh, exciting new elements for guests to enjoy.
