Follow on Google News | Kogelo Elders disown Malik ObamaBy: Kogelo Elders After recent media announcement regarding Malik Obama, the half brother to President Barrack Obama's trip to attend the last presidential debate in support of Donald Trump; we, the Kogelo Elders - USA, have conducted a conference call with Kenyan Americans here in the US, consulted with Kenyans in the social media world and back in Kenya. We hereby issue this statement regarding Malik Obama's attendance of the third US 2016 presidential election and supporting the republican nominee. Below are three important points that we want the public to know: -Malik's political ambitions and support is entirely his own and not a representation of his own village at Kogelo and indeed the rest of Kenyans, here in the US and back in Kenya. We see this as a ploy to undermine the current presidency and the Kenyan Americans who are fully behind Secretary Clinton, and we strongly condemn his actions. -Malik Obama did not consult us regarding this trip to attend and support the republican nominee and for that reason, we have nothing to do with this stunt and his political stand. -We the elders of Kogelo living in the US, all Kenyans living in the diaspora, and the elders living in Kenya would wish to let the media know that we have distanced ourselved from Malik, and we fully back President Obama and the candidate that he has endorsed as the democratic presidential candidate - Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton. Thank you all. Kogelo Elders - USA. http://www.cnn.com/ End
