ROCKLIN, Calif. - Nov. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- This past season, Ticket Chocolate of Loomis, California, walked away with the prestigious 6-Star Grand Master Award by the International Chocolate Salon as a top chocolatier in America, elevating this small artisan chocolate company in the northern California foothills to further prominence nationally. In recent years, Ticket's flagship product, Hot Chocolate on a Stick, has been featured in several national media publications as well as multiple appearances on NBC's Today Show.

The International Chocolate Salon (I.C.S.) in San Francisco recognized Ticket Chocolate and twelve others for their accomplishments over the last year after compiling each company's Gold and Silver awards at the regional International Chocolate Salons. The Annual award, based at the San Francisco I.C.S., is considered the pinnacle of chocolate and confectioner awards in the United States. Ticket Chocolate had previously submitted their premium Belgian couverture chocolate confections under various categories, and won a Four Star Award for Best Hot Chocolate in 2015 and 2016, Gold for Best White Chocolate in 2016, and Gold for Top Chocolate Bars in 2015 and 2016.

"It really is a great honor and testament to the innovation we've shown in product development over the last couple of years with our hand-crafted artisan chocolate," said Tyler Geertsen, owner of Ticket Chocolate. "We really strive to provide an exceptional tasting experience for our customers, selecting only the finest ingredients and inclusions in our hot chocolate sticks, Beloved chocolate bars and artisan s'mores kits. The amount of artisan chocolatiers is growing, and competition is tough, so to be recognized out of so many other chocolate kitchens out there is very rewarding."

When asked what goals Ticket Chocolate had for 2016 and beyond, Geertsen stated that Ticket was expanding its production facility with a larger kitchen and product development area opening in November 2016. The added production efficiency will allow the company to expand their offerings and give them space to meet their growth in corporate gifting and retail. "It was very gratifying to receive the 6-Star Grand Master Award from the International Chocolate Salon. We will keep submitting our products to the I.C.S. for review and plan to repeat our accomplishment in 2017 as well." You can find Ticket Chocolate products online at TicketChocolate.com as well as other fine wholesalers and boutiques around the country.
