MIAMI - Oct. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- This week, Rosy Palomino was named to the latest round of the Republican State Leadership Committee's (RSLC) "16 in '16: Races to Watch" list, which recognizes outstanding candidates in must-watch races through the RSLC's Future Majority Project (FMP) and Right Women, Right Now (RWRN). The RSLC's FMP and RWRN initiatives aim to identify, recruit and support new diverse and women candidates at the state level. Palomino is running for the open seat to Florida's State House District 112 representing most of the city of Miami, Eastern area of city of Coral Gables and the village of Key Biscayne. She has received overwhelming support from elected officials and civic leaders particularly the mayors of each of the cities in District 112.

"It is such an honor to have the RSLC highlight my campaign as one of the top races to watch this year, along with that of so many candidates across the country," said Rosy Palomino.

Palomino continued: "Few women, especially Republican women, are elected to public office. This recognition shows not only the importance this election is for the future of Florida but also the opportunities being offerred to women in today's Republican Party to serve and advocate for smaller government, lower taxes and free enterprise — not just in Florida, but nationwide."

"I am excited to continue spreading my message to voters throughout the district, and I wish the rest of my fellow "16 in '16" candidates the best of luck this Election Day!," concluded Palomino.
