Follow on Google News | Influential Mother-daughter Duo Is Fundraising For Wig Studio To Help Hair Loss Sufferers!Have a good hair day: "When you look good, you feel good," -- and vice versa!
By: Wigz Across America To alleviate this struggle a bit, 19-year-old Jaylin Waters and her mother, author Jonetta Smith, created Wigz Across America to: provide wigs for women and children, establish a mentorship program, and run self-esteem boosting awareness camps. Currently, the mother-daughter duo is planning for the March 2017 leg of their Wigz Across America tour, in which they work with popular YouTube influencer PeakMill to lead classes on creating wigs at affordable prices. While on tour, Jaylin and Jonetta fully realized the importance of empowering women through custom hairpieces that were different from other pieces. They brainstormed the next step of their vision: opening a salon to form a "glam-ily" – a family to boost glamour and self-love. To reach this worthy goal and cover projected start-up costs of $20,000, the duo created a Go Fund Me. This creativity and entrepreneurship is a trait shared by Jaylin and Jonetta. Though she is still a student, studying fashion design at the Chicago Art Institute, Jaylin is a celebrity stylist and CEO of Mo'Chic Beauty Hair Line.
