LOS ANGELES - Oct. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Today, Cannalytics, the first consumer research company dedicated to the cannabis industry, announced insights from their 2016 Cannabis Voter Report. Cannalytics found that for 73% of cannabis voters, marijuana legalization is one of the most important issues in the upcoming election. And with nearly 50% of voters who don't consider themselves Democrat or Republican, marijuana stands as a key tool to sway voters for Congress and the Presidency.

During July and August 2016, Cannalytics conducted a 51-question survey that ranged in topics from demographics and consumption habits to views on marijuana in the scope of the November election. Beyond presenting the issues, Cannalytics is also putting forth suggestions on how best to reach these voters. Andy Soltani, Co-Founder of Cannalytics, states, "We set out to use our data to highlight the disconnect between Congress and the American people and re-energize the discussion around Cannabis policy reform."
