PRLog -- G Michael Salon is hosting a Red Carpet charity event and Customer Appreciation Party on October 22, 2016 from 7-9pm. This event will benefit the Gleaners food bank of Indianapolis in partnership with Feeding America. The nights events will include wine tasting, hors d' oeuvres, LIVE music, a silent auction, product demos, hair styling demos and of course, giving back to the community through fundraising. G Michael Salon is located on Indy's north side near the Keystone at the Crossing shopping mecca with neighbors including; Ruth's Chris, Sangiovese Ristorante, Orange Theory Fitness, Yolk, B Spot Burgers and Vogue Nail Spa. G Michael Salon has been named one of the Top 200 Salons in the United States by Salon Today Magazine and Voted indianapolis' best hair salon by the Indy A-List. When asked how the Owner of GMS, Greg Lee, chose the charity that he wanted to give back to this year, his response was: "We have worked with Gleaners for past events and they have always been great to work with. As we get closer to the holiday season, the local food banks get emptier. This is the time of year that we need to stand up and help out the local food banks to ensure that no one goes hungry." Lee also says, "It's not just the holidays that we need to think about giving back, food shortage is a growing concern in America that knows no season." G Michael Salon has been in business since 2009 and has just recently relocated to what the Indianapolis Monthly has called 'The Hottest Address in Indianapolis', The Ironworks at Keystone building.
